Jury Duty is one of a citizen's most sacred privileges. It also give individuals an opportunity to see first hand how the courts in their community function.

The Superior Court Clerk in Cherokee County, Patty Baker, acts as the jury administrator for the courts. General questions about your service in Cherokee County should be directed to the Clerk's office located in the courthouse in Canton, Georgia. The phone number is (678) 493-6533. During your actual time of service, you will be given another number to call to receive a recorded message with instructions for the jury during a specific week.

If you are summoned for jury duty you should report at the prescribed time to the Jury Assembly Room located on the ground floor of the Cherokee County Courthouse, 90 North Street, in Canton. Free parking is available in the parking deck of the courthouse.
